Furthermore, there are plenty of sights, such as an old traditional factory, a war and folkloric museum, ancient stone bridges, the historical and heroic Cave of "Krionerida" and the Cave of "Kalamatos".

The "Boutakas" River, with its ancient bridges and the water-mills, flows beside the village, arriving in Vrysses where it meets another two rivers.

In Vrysses one can find bus depot, supermarket, bank, bookshop, internet cafe, bakery, petrol station, post office, souvenir shops and numerous cafes, restaurants and traditional taverns, and the sandy, long beaches of Georgioupolis are approx. 10min by car.
